Megacycle

Get on yer bike for ASBAH - In 2008

Pedal power is the perfect way to boost the ASBAH coffers… it’s a great way to get fit and is a fun family activity.

ASBAH’s annual Megacycle event, organised by Ian Morley, is a 24-hour marathon in Peterborough. As the ride is around an eight-mile circuit, you don’t need to be an experienced cyclist to take part – you can do as little as one circuit, if you prefer.

Now in its 15th Year, The teams and individuals taking part have raised an impressive £35,000!

This year’s ASBAH Megacycle starts at noon on Saturday 5th July, continuing for 24 hours until noon on Sunday 6th July. The event is based on a safe, eight-mile circuit of cycle paths taking in long stretches of the River Nene and the beautiful Ferry Meadows Country Park.

If you would like to enter, either as an individual or as part of a relay team for the event, or you’d prefer to organise you own local Megacycle, please contact Ian Morley at ASBAH for friendly help and advice
